A Gardener's Night Before Christmas
by Dr. Leonard Perry, Extension Professor at the University of Vermont
T’was the night before Christmas and under the snow,
Perennials now dormant were waiting to grow.
The roses were mulched, the soil piled high,
To protect the graft union so the plants wouldn’t die.

Enjoy! And warmest wishes for the season.
