During this busy time of year, I don't always have the opportunity to write seasonal blog posts, but I do stay abreast of what's going on around us.
A surprising result of our unseasonably warm weather in the Northeast is the thriving tick population. Read this important message about your living Christmas tree! Forewarned is forearmed.
On a happier note, take a little time this season to give our feathered friends a winter treat. This lovely wreath can be constructed of almost anything you might already have.
Both posts were courtesy of the University of Connecticut Extension Master Gardener program.
